Katya - May 2010

Katya is still living down at the Bushman village but also spends a lot of his time up at the new horse kraal on the farm, since a group of other horses have now been brought here.

Gorgeous Katya seems delighted to have some of his own company and has taken on the role of looking after the foals while their mums are being ridden or groomed. It’s very endearing to see them all together.

Katya’s bad feet have still not fully recovered but that doesn’t stop him getting around as sometimes it can take the volunteers quite a while to find him to give him his food and a brush. Often he’s just having too much fun out and about to be found!
